It is a surgical procedure that is mostly done by one group. Although it is spreading, I would not call this a "standard of care" in China. I had mentioned in earlier posts that Dr. Xiao had claimed in a talk that he was getting what he called "good responses" in 80% of the cases. To my knowledge, this was not published and this is something that should be confirmed by others. People should not be thinking that this procedure is 85% successful.
