Sure there was not enough evidence to indict Wilson, but this doesn't necessarily mean that the way he handled the situation was the best he could have done.

From all accounts Ferguson police had been unusually rude and heavy-handed for a long time. Their relationship with the community was terrible. 欺压百姓惯了。It is understandable that officer Wilson felt that the black kid deserved to die for disrespecting his authority and humiliating him in public.
