Diligence, which was set up in 2000 by former members of the British and American secret services.
The chairman of Diligence’s board is Judge William Webster, the former director of the CIA and the FBI.

This not the first time that Lord Powell has run into controversy. In 2005, it was disclosed that he had been working as Blair’s special envoy to Brunei despite also working for BAE Systems. The British defence firm was involved in a dispute with Brunei over the sale of three warships. Powell denied any conflict of interest.
