His average citation is 8.5. The only significant one is J.J. Zhao, A. Buldum, J. Han, J.P. Lu, Nanotechnology13, 195(2002), which the citation number is quite high considering the date of publication.

I don't know the situation of citation in Physics. Based on my personal experience, average number of 8.5 is not high. As a lab technician, my average citation is 57.
